Polish Agricultural Census confirms CropRadar results

At the end of 2020 the Polish Statistical Office carried out an Agricultural Census. This is only done every 10 years and almost 98% of the farmers in Poland took part. As first outcome the report indicates that the winter oilseed rape area in Poland last year was 977,000 ha. CropRadar measured already in June 2020 a nearly similar area. Vice versa the official Polish forecast was previously around 800,000 to 850,000 ha.

In Poland at lof of area is sown with farm saved winter oilseed rape. Seed for which it is difficult to quantify the amount of hectares. With CropRadar you have an independent and reliable tool to measure the precise area.
