#MonitoringMonday – World's largest solar park
The world’s largest thin-film solar park, Bochow, is located in the municipality of Groß Kreuz in Brandenburg (Germany). With over 200,000 CIS thin-film modules installed, the plant has an output of 28.8 megawatts. The solar panels cannot be overlooked even from space.
The power plant shows the increasing importance of CIS technology for solar energy. The technology has high performance even in poor conditions, such as weak light in the morning and evening hours.
